TISG's focus on rural hospitals, physician partnerships and HMO status result in limited competition
Key Largo, Fla., Dec. 12, 2008 -- AMI Research, a division of Hawk Associates that provides quality credible analyst reports, announced today that it has initiated research coverage of Tri-Isthmus Group (TIGroup) (Pink Sheets: TISG) with a BUY recommendation. AMI Research projects a near-term price range of $0.56 to $0.71 per diluted share and a long-term target of $1.19 to $1.59.
TIGroup acquires and provides financial, operational and technological services to healthcare facilities located in rural markets. In October 2008, TIGroup became a Medicare Advantage provider, permiting the company to be its own Health Maintenance Organization (HMO). This generates a consistent revenue stream at the beginning of every month through a capped per person payment. The company anticipates enrolling approximately 5,000 patients by 2009.
Longer life expectancies, the company's focus on rural demographics, strategic physician partnerships and increased Medicare spending are some key factors insinuating a favorable outlook for TISG's future revenue growth.
